The Greater Stockholm Fire Brigade has several rescue units and command units on site to handle the ongoing situation in Stockholm.

- Currently we have twelve rescue units and five command units deployed. We've recieved indications that there are both injured and dead, says Anna Ståhle Bofjäll, duty press officer from the Greater Stockholm Command Centre.
 
The Fire and Rescue Services are working closely with the Police and  ambulance services. Units from neighbouring Fire Departments support us in upholding and maintaining preparedness in general.
 
- We're advicing the public to avoid the city central and stay att home. If you are worried about your family and friends, you can call the Police at telephone number 114 14, says Anna Ståhle Bofjäll.
